We are still open – Learn how to proceed to attend your appointments
In this time of pandemic illness, dental clinics will remain open to help with your oral health!
However, there are some limitations and precautions you should be aware of.
Let’s start from the beginning.
If you want to schedule an appointment with your dentist, what you should do is book by phone, email, or WhatsApp, and not visit the clinic in person.
When making the appointment, you will answer a questionnaire to assess the risk of COVID-19 contamination.
This questionnaire will give us information about your symptoms, whether you have been sick or suspect you have been, or if you have been or are in contact with people who have the disease.
If there is any suspicion or confirmation of illness, it is advised that you postpone your appointment unless it is an emergency.
If it is an urgent case that cannot be postponed, you should schedule your appointment for the end of the day, at a specific time to avoid crossovers between patients. But don’t worry, if that’s the case, the clinic will guide you in the best way possible.
Before the appointment, pay attention to the time of your appointment, which is of utmost importance. You should neither arrive early nor late; the appointment time must be strictly followed, as it is oriented to minimize crossovers between people in the clinic and to account for disinfection periods of the space.
If you arrive early, you should wait in the car or outside the clinic. If you are late, please inform the clinic.
At the clinic, there are several precautions to take.
Wearing a mask is mandatory, and you should only remove it when you are in the chair receiving the necessary medical treatments. Upon entering, you should disinfect your hands with the alcohol solution provided for this purpose and put on the personal protective equipment provided by the clinic.
Your body temperature will be taken. You should bring the minimum number of personal items, just the essentials (avoid bracelets, rings, earrings, bags, extra coats, computers, newspapers, magazines, books).
A designated place will be provided to store your personal belongings.
Do not be surprised by the absence of carpets, magazines, etc., which you normally see in our waiting room. This is part of the recommended precautions for better disinfection of the space.
Within the medical office, the necessary precautions and recommendations will be provided by our team during your consultation.
Only in special situations, such as for minors and patients with specific characteristics, will companions be allowed to enter. They must stay two meters away and wear a mask.
At the end of the appointment, you should go to reception, where the preferred payment method is by ATM card.
Before leaving the clinic, you should remove the shoe covers and dispose of them in the designated trash can and disinfect your hands again.
These are general recommendations you should follow to protect yourself and others. Try to see it as a new reality, in a calm but responsible way.
If you have any doubts, we are always available through our official channels: phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
