Ana Catarina Nogueira da Silva
Laser Dentistry
Professor Ana Catarina Nogueira da Silva graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Porto and began her specialization in Laser Dentistry with the Mastership in Laser Dentistry, followed by a Master of Sciences in Laser Dentistry from the University of Aachen, and the EMDOLA (European Master’s in Oral Laser Applications).
She later completed her PhD at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Porto, focusing on Laser Dentistry, where she is a professor in the Operative Dentistry course and conducts research in the field of Laser.
She has published several articles and presented at various National and International conferences.
Ana Catarina Nogueira da Silva is the Portuguese ambassador for the International Society for Laser Dentistry and is responsible for organizing the upcoming World Congress of the Society, which will be held in Porto in 2024.
